MARQUEE HIRE GUIDE

A ClearSpan marquee has no internal or external pillars or obstacles, so you start with a blank open space in which you then create the place to host your event. We have marquees varying in width from 3m up to 15m in our Clearspan Range. For the ultimate in size and luxury, the length can be anything you want, depending on the space available. We also create much larger spaces by putting 2 or more spans side-by-side if required.

You’ll also need to choose what internal finish you want. You have a choice of carpets and linings, including specialist black or white starcloth linings to create a fantastic dance area. You can have dividing curtains to screen off an area until it is needed to create a real wow effect.

You may also want some additional space which we can create using our pagodas and Chinese hat marquees.

The furniture you choose sets the scene for your event. With a huge choice of furniture including chairs, table shapes and sizes, sofas, coffee tables, bar stools, outdoor furniture and parasols, dance floors, bars and much more, we can help you bring your vision to life. To create the right mood for your event, you need the right lighting. Traditional chandeliers are the obvious choice, but maybe you want a more modern feel. Lights can be built into the ceiling linings to create a starry sky effect, or you can create a focal point with contemporary chandeliers in a variety of colours and statement candelabras. To get the party started you need the right music to dance to – and our mood lighting range can create fantastic effects on the floor and walls of your marquee.

For event to go without a hitch, we also need to make sure we’ve got some basic services covered like toilets. But don’t worry they’re not your basic portable toilet unit. We’ll make sure your guests can freshen up in style before getting back to the event.

Heating is something you might also need to allow for, especially for winter events. We can bring in heaters at the last minute if it looks like the weather isn’t going to be warm enough.

Finally, your marquee needs a power supply. Not just to run the lighting, but importantly your caterers and entertainment will also need enough power for their equipment. We’ll discuss with them what they need and make sure we provide them with sufficient power and enough leads and sockets to run smoothly.

For total peace of mind, there’s also our On-site Technician service, so that we can be on hand to deal with last-minute requests or unforeseen problems if requested at an extra charge.
